STRONG AT ANY AGE!

I’ve had athletes ask me why I train. I tell them, “I’m Training for LIFE!” The desire to become strong – or stronger – or stay strong, is a very individual decision.    We all have our own reasons for wanting to get in better shape or stay in shape. I start my clients from square one. They feel challenged throughout their workouts, yet capable and confident because they are training and progressing at a manageable pace! 

BENEFITS OF PERFORMANCE TRAINING

For women, moving our body and building strength is truly the fountain of youth!  Using our own body weight, as well as external weights, as our mode of resistance,  strengthens our bones, and keeps our daily movements strong and reliable. Building Strength creates Energy!! It keeps everything down to the cells in our body awake and ready to perform – whether its with our kids, our job or our mindset! The sky is the limit when you feel strong on the inside!  Strength Training also is great for the metabolism as it not only burns calories during the workout, but puts you in a state of calorie burning well after your session! 

WHERE TO START?

When it comes to building strength, you don’t need to devote several hours every single day. How about just 2-3 times a week for an hour? It is amazing what our body will do for us if we just give it a chance! 

HOW IT WORKS

By first learning how to activate the muscles properly, your movements will become more efficient in building strength! And by starting at the beginning, you will still be developing strength right away – but in a safe, effective and progressive way! 

CLASS SIZES

My performance classes will always be small in size, so I can give more instructional attention to each class member to take you through each step, in order to help you achieve your personal goals! 

My Approach

I want each of my clients to properly learn how to get stronger by learning how their own body moves and responds to exercise.  And it’s about trusting the process and celebrating the little victories along the way!

With 34 years experience of my own fitness, I fully understand the balance between keeping the mindset motivated enough to continue exercising, but not make such a big deal out of it, that we get overwhelmed and quit.

And I’ve gotten it wrong as many times as I’ve gotten it right! The bottom line is – nothing is perfect. But, that is where the magic is!

Knowing as long as you don’t give up – you WILL continue to make progress and get STRONGER!

Functional Movement & Flexibility Exercises –  Great for Retirees!

Great for Active Agers or Senior Citizens who aren’t done yet! Maintain and build lean muscle as you improve your flexibility & mobility.  As we grow older, strength and mobility help to keep the bones strong, the mind sharp and can help prevent injuries. Come get strong with friends, new and old, in this fun and welcoming atmosphere! 

  • Duration: 4 Weeks / 8 Classes
  • Cost: $45.00
  • When: Starting Tuesday, June 4th, 2019
  • – Every Tuesday & Thursday, at 10am.
  • Length of Classes: 30-45 minutes.
  • Exercise Mat and Light Weights WILL be provided.
