They will learn proper form and movement and be taught how to safely recruit the correct muscles to perform a variety of moves in all planes of motion.
Children will also begin to build strength and stabilization in the ankles, knees and shoulder complex – which is key to not only accuracy in acceleration, deceleration and throwing in their sports, but aids in injury prevention as well!

My Story
I have a special place for Youth Fitness. That is when I started my fitness journey. I was 12
THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF FITNESS ON OUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGED YOUTH
Fitness proves to kids that it’s okay to feel struggle as you’re working towards a goal.
Fitness teaches kids that struggles can have a purpose, which teaches perseverance!
Fitness shows kids that they can feel comfortable with taking positive risks!
Fitness can help to connect the benefits of commitment and dedication with positive results!
Fitness can help kids form the connection between feeling strong in the body and feeling strong in the mind!
Fitness shows our kids that there are no short-cuts, by teaching delayed gratification – as well as learning to be okay with where they are as they progress!
Fitness helps youth to learn to be confident and comfortable with challenging situations!
My Approach
When it comes to Fitness & Kids, it’s got to be fun!! Elementary School Aged kids can build strength and coordination through obstacle courses, games
And kids can do hard things too! But, it must be age appropriate. They are curious and excited to try new things! And when they feel like they have control over something that they set out to do – in a safe, yet challenging manner – it can greatly affect their confidence and outlook in other areas of their life! And I absolutely work that strong mindset ideal
